New Co-Lead Pastor at Imago Dei Church
As many of you know, in 2015 I stepped away from serving as the Lead Pastor of an Independent Christian church in Kentucky. During this time, I decided to go back to school and obtain my Masters of Divinity at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. At the same time, I have had the privilege of serving at Kingswood United Methodist Church. Throughout seminary, I also have been discerning where to transfer my ordination, either into the United Methodist Church or the United Church of Christ. As I am now in the final months of seminary, I have decided due to the challenges the Methodist Church faces on the issues of inclusion and because of the congregational polity of the UCC, I will transfer my ordination into the United Church of Christ. At the same time I decided this, I started to search out full-time employment to serve in a Lead Pastor role again.
